Amrut Sambar Masala gives an authentic South Indian sambar flavor and aroma to your homemade version of the delicacy.
Boil soaked tur dal with turmeric, salt, and pieces of drumstick, brinjal, pumpkin, carrots, and onions. Add 2 tbsp of thick tamarind juice, and chili powder. Add 1 tbsp of Amrut sambar masala. Bring it to a simmer. Temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and hing. Serve hot with idli and wada. It can also be consumed with rice.
